Kardia UMC was established in 2007 with the merger of two churches - First UMC of West Los Angeles, and Ascension Ministry, the English language ministry of Los Angeles Korean UMC. Kardia Church is a loving and spiritual home for people seeking to know and encounter God in what was originally a Korean American/Asian American community, but which has since become a much more diverse church environment.
At our church, we strive to be a blessing to the world by serving the marginalized and those experiencing poverty with tangible expressions of the love of Jesus.

Our worship blends contemporary and traditional elements, and we preach and teach from the Bible, guided by the Holy Spirit.
