UPCOMING sERMONS
April 28, 2024:
The early church and its leaders experienced significant struggles, but they overcame and endured and spread the Gospel of Jesus to the known world. What was their secret? One of their greatest tools in overcoming hardship was the spiritual discipline of celebration! This Sunday's message will be the final one in the series on Spiritual Disciplines, inspired by the book, Celebration of Discipline by Richard Foster. The message is titled, "Overcoming Life's Troubles Through the Spiritual Discipline of Celebration." The main Scripture is Philippians 4:4-7.
Celebration and joy are not just something we experience when things are going well. As Christians we are able to, and indeed are called to, celebrate and rejoice in every situation, in good times and bad times. And this discipline allows us to overcome hard things. I hope to rejoice with you this Sunday in worship together.
